I alone am enough.

None of them had expected to encounter such a situation, and everyone was at a loss, unsure of how to proceed. Hearing Ji Fanxing’s words, they nodded instinctively.
Xu Mo’s gaze was deep and complex as he looked at Ji Fanxing. “I’ll go in with you.”
“No,” Ji Fanxing refused decisively. “Too many people will only complicate things. I can handle it alone—”
Before she could finish, a loud crash came from the lounge.
Song Qing finally managed to force open the dressing room door, and, propelled by momentum, she and the man both slammed against the door panel.
The tremendous noise startled everyone, attracting a crowd.
The man roared in fury, trying once again to overpower Song Qing, while she, terrified and tearful, struggled desperately to crawl out.
Ji Fanxing, standing at the entrance, did not hesitate for a moment. Like an arrow released from its string, she charged straight into the lounge.
With lightning speed, she shoved the man off Song Qing and pinned him firmly to the ground.
“Don’t move!” she commanded coldly, her voice icy as she addressed the man who tried to resist. “Try moving again and see what happens!”
The man struggled with all his might, but to his astonishment, Ji Fanxing’s strength was exceptional—he could not break free.
“Wu wu—Xu Mo… help me…”
Song Qing, her clothes disheveled, saw Xu Mo as her savior. Clutching her nearly fallen dress, she scrambled to her feet and lunged toward Xu Mo’s arms.
But she missed, stumbling a few steps before regaining her balance; her precarious dress nearly slipped off.
The vicious man kept struggling, and Xu Mo worried that Ji Fanxing might not hold him alone, so he stepped forward to help.
Only when he got close did he realize his concern was unnecessary.
Ji Fanxing had used some unknown technique to restrain the man so completely he could not move.
Producer Liu Qi, seeing this, began dispersing the crowd that had gathered. “Move along, nothing to see here. Just a petty thief.”
After the crowd cleared, he closed the lounge door and furiously confronted the man, “Li Sheng! What on earth is going on?!”
Li Sheng was the sound engineer’s name.
“I didn’t do anything!” the man shouted hoarsely, his voice full of panic and anger.
Ji Fanxing sneered and ignored his protests.
She shifted her hold, her knee pressing down hard on Li Sheng, one hand pinning him, while she deftly searched his pockets with the other.
Watching her bold and skillful movements, Xu Mo’s heart fluttered; he wanted to speak but held his tongue.
Just then, Ji Fanxing pulled a miniature camera from Li Sheng’s loose pants pocket.
Caught red-handed, it was clear he was the sleazy voyeur.
“What were you planning to do with this?” she asked, arching her brow.
“Call the police!” Ji Fanxing didn’t wait for his answer; she declared sharply to Liu Qi, “Carrying a miniature camera into the women’s dressing room and attacking a female contestant—this is already a crime!”
Li Sheng glared venomously at Ji Fanxing, then shouted, “Song Qing and I are a couple! We were just a bit too affectionate in the dressing room…”
“No! You’re lying! That’s not what happened at all!”
Song Qing’s face was as pale as paper.
Yet the man flashed a sinister smile. “If the police take me away, who knows what I’ll say…”
His veiled words implied something sordid between himself and Song Qing.
“You—!”
Song Qing pointed at him, speechless, then glanced at Xu Mo, whose glassy eyes were fixed on her.
She must not go along with his story, or she would be tainted in Xu Mo’s eyes…
She bit her lip. “I have nothing to do with you! Stop lying!”
Li Sheng’s expression twisted instantly. He knew if the police took him away and found anything in their investigation, he would not escape unscathed.
Suddenly, he seemed to lose control and lunged at Ji Fanxing.
“Let’s see what you can do to me!” Li Sheng roared, swinging his arms in a desperate attempt to shake her off.
But just as he began to exert force, a soft “crack” echoed through the air.
Li Sheng’s fierce posture froze abruptly, then he let out an even more anguished scream than before.

He collapsed to the floor, his arm twisted at a grotesque angle.
Everyone present was stunned.
Xu Mo anxiously looked at Ji Fanxing, only to see her standing tall and unharmed.
Ji Fanxing innocently raised her hands, casting long shadows in the dim light. “It’s just a defensive reaction.”
On closer inspection, Li Sheng’s forearm was dislocated.
There had been a period when Ji Fanxing faced ruthless criminals daily, and unknowingly mastered a bone-breaking technique.
“Fanxing, maybe we should send him to the hospital first?” Liu Qi, hoping to keep things quiet, preferred not to escalate the matter.
“No need.” Ji Fanxing replied, her movements unceasing. With another “crack,” she reset Li Sheng’s dislocated arm.
“Ah!” The intense pain made Li Sheng cry out, then he lay limp on the floor, unable to move.
Liu Qi watched Ji Fanxing’s efficient actions and Li Sheng’s miserable state, swallowing nervously.
After confirming the arm was reset, Ji Fanxing fixed her gaze on Liu Qi. “Producer Liu, you know exactly what happened with the initial stage, don’t you?”
“This man, Li Sheng, disrupted the stage last time, harassed contestants backstage this time, and even attempted illegal filming. What about next time?”
Next time?
Next time might be even worse! Liu Qi’s face twitched, and he no longer pitied Li Sheng. He glared at him and said decisively, “Call the police!”
In the end, Li Sheng was sent to the police station.
Originally, the group was supposed to accompany him for statements, but Liu Qi somehow managed to exempt them from this process.
It made sense. After finally quelling online rumors, if another story about contestants being sent to the police surfaced, who knows what the social media accounts would write.
Rumors spread easily, but clarifications are exhausting.
Better to avoid unnecessary trouble.
After the chaos subsided, the matter was settled.
Ji Fanxing straightened her clothes and said to Xu Mo, “You were right; I don’t need to compete with my elder sister.”
And to Liu Qi, “Producer Liu, thank you. I’ll keep this lounge.”
With that, she left, leaving the others in astonished silence.
Only Song Qing’s trembling, near-crying voice remained: “Xu Mo… thank you for saving me.”
Xu Mo did not reply. His gaze drifted to a corner, landing on an angel pendant.
The delicate, outspread wings seemed to guard something like a protector.
“How did this end up here?” Xu Mo pointed at the pendant, frowning.
Song Qing panicked. “It… it was abandoned by Ji Fanxing.” She stammered, “I saw it thrown in the trash and thought it was a pity, so I picked it up.”
Hearing this, Xu Mo fell silent.
After a long pause, he turned to Ji Shengxue. “I’m leaving.”
He did not look again at Song Qing or the pendant in the corner, and walked away.
“Shengxue…” Song Qing tried to find something to say to ease the awkwardness. “Today was really awful.”
But Ji Shengxue only glanced at her and did not reply.
Tonight, all she witnessed was a farce.
She turned to Liu Qi, who hadn’t left. “Producer Liu, sorry to trouble you, are there any vacant lounges?”
Liu Qi, seeing the mess, quickly understood—this was the beloved eldest daughter of Director Ji, not to be neglected.
“Yes, I’ll arrange one for you.”
Ji Shengxue took her things and left, forgetting, perhaps intentionally, to call Song Qing along.
Song Qing, oblivious to any oddness, picked up the angel pendant and muttered to herself:
“I almost got bullied today… Luckily I had this; it summoned Xu Mo to save me… It really brings me good luck.”
Back at the hotel, Xu Mo took a small velvet pouch from his luggage and handed it to his assistant.
“Throw it away.”
The assistant took it; whatever was inside felt heavy.

“All right, Teacher Xu.” The assistant left, and the manager asked, “Xu Mo, about the later events for ‘King of All Songs’…?”
“I won’t take them.” Xu Mo replied. He was never interested in talent shows; he had only attended out of respect for Shengxue and the company.
One episode was enough.
On Robin Island.
After a long day, Ji Fanxing leaned against the bedhead after her nightly routine, fingers gently sliding across her phone screen as comments appeared one by one.
[I’m sorry, Ji Fanxing, I apologize for doubting you before!]
[Wuwu, I must have been blinded by lard!]
[That long-tone singing technique is amazing, I’m setting it as my ringtone!]
[Fanxing is beautiful and positive, promoting traditional culture is wonderful!]
The first episode of “King of All Songs, Season One” was about to air tonight, and online viewers were already barely containing their excitement.
On DouDou and Weibo, countless fans left messages:
[Ji Fanxing’s remarks in support of traditional arts today truly opened my eyes.]
[I’m a music major specializing in traditional instruments. I’m willing to work for Ji-Goddess for free! Today was finally a day to hold my head high! Who dares say my traditional instruments are tacky now!]
The hashtag #JiFanxingTraditionalCultureIsOurNationalTreasure# topped the trending list.
The live version of the initial stage performance had already surpassed a hundred million downloads. Even with only a twenty percent share, “King of All Songs” had earned over a million.
It was clear that once the first episode aired, Ji Fanxing’s four love songs would bring immense benefit to the production team.
Originally, Ji Fanxing had no particular opinion about the program earning extra income.
But today, the production team mercilessly pushed her out as a scapegoat, which left her deeply dissatisfied.
If they displeased her, they shouldn’t expect to profit at her expense.
Elsewhere, Chu Hao, who had left home for music, unexpectedly received a call from his father.
“…When will you leave the island?” His father, for once, didn’t open with accusations.
Chu Hao was surprised, and his tone became gentler. “About half a month more.”
“Alright, remember to come home for dinner when you’re back. Your grandfather said today’s performance wasn’t bad.”
“Okay.”
For the first time since leaving home, father and son ended a call peacefully.
Also, for the first time in history, the thing he loved was acknowledged by his family.
The third episode was still a group competition, but with half the contestants gone, the once crowded room felt much emptier.
Ji Fanxing, usually punctual, was late today.
“Yesterday… are you alright?”
As soon as she sat down, a cool guy behind her awkwardly expressed concern.
Chu Hao had only learned about the backstage incident that morning.
Ji Fanxing smiled lightly, her tone calm and easy. “It’s nothing. That minor disturbance is no big deal.”
“Mm.”
Chu Hao discreetly observed Ji Fanxing several times, confirming she was truly fine before letting it go without another word.
The teammate selection phase began again. Under everyone’s gaze, Ji Fanxing pressed the button, and the screen rolled, finally landing on the name “Hailan.”
Hailan had ranked fourth in the second stage.
Contestants whispered below the stage.
“First and fourth pairing again?!”
