066 World Destroyer, a Mighty Collision
The raging wind howled like a wild tiger descending from the mountains, its formidable momentum sweeping up sand and dust, moving with reckless abandon. Waldo’s face was twisted in fury as his body became a blur, eyes wide with anger. His right fist tore through the air, its movement accompanied by a piercing sound as he launched a violent attack.
He cared nothing for his opponent’s identity; what mattered to him was that he was the world destroyer with a bounty of five hundred million Berries. Returning from the New World, he had been intercepted twice by unknown figures, which left him thoroughly disgruntled.
“Memo—Two Hundred Times Force.”
Like Mount Tai crashing down, the powerful shockwave swept across his shoulder-length hair. Xuan Ye narrowed his eyes, a smile curling at the corner of his lips, veins bulging on his right fist.
“Bang…” The two fists collided, shattering gold and stone. The ground beneath their feet caved in, countless cracks raising sand and debris into the sky.
A storm erupted, its terrifying momentum causing chaos all around.
“Thud… Thud…”
Unable to stop himself, Xuan Ye left four or five footprints on the ground. His right hand tingled with numbness as he raised his head and looked excitedly at Waldo, a sharp gleam in his eyes.
They were evenly matched; Xuan Ye felt his blood boiling. This man before him was worthy of a fierce battle.
“Kid, who are you? To withstand my punch, you cannot be an unknown.” Waldo stared at the young man before him, puzzled.
Since when did the Four Seas have such young masters? It would make sense in the New World, but here, in the Four Seas, it was remarkable.
“Remember this: the one who will defeat you is Xuan Ye Tang!” Xuan Ye grinned, flames erupting from his body. The temperature soared, and in an instant, the entire space rippled.
“Xuan Ye Tang… That name sounds familiar. Are you with the Navy?” Waldo squinted, watching Xuan Ye as if reborn from fire.
“So what if I am? So what if I’m not?”
The cold voice rang in Waldo’s ears, leaving him somewhat shocked.
“Bang…” An elbow tore through the air, flames boiling, rushing straight for Waldo’s chest.
“Such speed!” Waldo’s pupils contracted as he reacted instantly, raising his knee to counter.
Trading blow for blow? Xuan Ye was wary—no wonder this was a pirate worth five hundred million. His battle experience far exceeded that of ordinary pirates.
But I am not a timid novice. Xuan Ye’s eyes chilled, his elbow relentless, striking at Waldo with even greater ferocity.
“This kid…” Waldo’s mind trembled, he snorted coldly, and his knee seemed to surge with power, meeting the attack head-on with domineering force.
“Boom…” The explosive collision—Xuan Ye’s elbow was blocked by Waldo’s right hand, a storm shattered the earth.
“Bang…” Xuan Ye’s face paled, gritting his teeth as his right foot trembled, bracing against Waldo’s knee before flipping back, widening the distance between them.
“Well done.” Both were alert, each knowing the other was no easy foe.
He flexed his foot to ease the numbness. Xuan Ye took a deep breath, speaking with interest, “This is exciting. With your head, I think my return won’t be much of a problem.”
“Arrogant! When I roamed the seas, you were probably buried somewhere in a trash heap.” Waldo sneered, though inwardly he was on guard.
“Arrogant or not, let's find out. Half-beast form.”
He crouched slightly as flames boiled. A half-human, half-bird mystical creature spread its wings amid fire.
Heat waves rolled, the earth cracked.
With a screech, the fire vanished. A terrifying, pitch-black wing enveloped scorching flames, wild and powerful.
“Bang…” Fist and wing collided.
Flipping, his right foot transformed into a sharp talon, slashing like a blade.
Waldo, too, was formidable—calm and composed. Each fist and kick was overwhelming, only slightly disturbed by the flames, but otherwise untroubled.
“High Temperature—Flame Blade.”
“Swoosh…” Flames spun as his left hand swept, unleashing a blade wrapped in fire.
“Armament—Memo—Tenfold Defense.” Darkness shrouded his right fist, striking like a meteor, violently launching forward; his left arm bent, transforming into an elbow, whistling through the air.
“Clang… Bang…”
Steel clashed, lightning flashed. Xuan Ye’s claw lashed out, tearing through flesh and retreating.
“Drip… drip…” Waldo stood, looking at three scratches on his right fist, his face darkening.
“Ten Million Degrees—Endless Arrows.”
Both hands spread wide, flames expanded, countless terrifying blades descending from the sky, radiating a chilling aura.
“Memo—Five Hundred Times Impact.”
Waldo looked up at the endless blades, his hands blurred as he shattered the air.
“Flame Rays.” Xuan Ye smiled, spreading his hands, ten beams tore through the atmosphere at the speed of light.
“Memo—One Hundred Times Speed.” Instantly vanishing, the ten rays swept up sand and exploded.
“Memo—Five Hundred Times Heavy Strike.”
“Extreme Speed.” Xuan Ye tensed, his figure disappearing swiftly.
“Boom…” The black fist, sparking with fire, shattered the ground.
“Trying to run?” Waldo grinned viciously, his figure vanishing again.
“I never intended to run.”
“Bang bang…” Collisions echoed, sky and earth plunged into chaos. One red, one black, two figures rampaged like humanoid tyrannosaurs, destroying everything in their path.
“Spurt…” Blood sprayed as Xuan Ye landed, arms quickly crossing.
“Ten Million Degrees—Super—Fire God Spear.” A colossal blade, over a thousand meters long, plummeted like a meteor, its momentum overwhelming.
“Memo—Five Hundred Times Combo.” The invisible figure appeared, visible to the naked eye, the huge ice blade turning inch by inch into flame.
“Fifty Million Degrees—God Slayer Spear.”
Drawing a deep breath, his eyes gold and crimson, the ground beneath Xuan Ye liquefied. He arched slightly, and a golden-white supernatural spear appeared in his right hand.
“Die!” Stepping forward, flames burst forth as Xuan Ye hurled the spear with all his strength. In an instant, a streak of light pierced through space, roaring past and turning into sparks.
Heaven and earth overturned, the spear cleaving the earth, sand and stone flying.
“Buzz… buzz…” The spear vibrated, its shockwave shattering everything.
“Armament—Memo—Five Hundred Times Grip.”
Waldo’s face paled, his right hand darkened, preparing to withstand the blow.
“Boom…” Lightning flashed as Waldo grabbed the spear shaft, his body thrown backward, feet buried deep in the ground. His face flushed as he roared, spinning to hurl the spear back at Xuan Ye.
“Piercing Ray.” Hands clasped, flames burning, a triangular beam was launched.
“Boom…” The ground exploded, a hurricane soared, splitting the clouds and forming an abyss.
Blood dripped; Waldo’s right hand was gashed to the bone, forcing him to gasp.
“Kid, you’re strong—able to withstand my five hundredfold power. But if this is all you’ve got, you’ll die here,” Waldo said, carelessly flicking his hand.
“Huff… huff…” Xuan Ye’s breathing was labored. Wiping blood from his lips, he grinned fiercely, “You underestimate me.”
“Warm-up’s over. Now, let’s go all out.” Xuan Ye pulled a ribbon from his pocket; his previously wild hair had hindered his movements.
Binding his long hair, his eyes glowed gold and red, and his blood surged. “I hope you force me to my limits.”
“You’re delusional. Too arrogant.”
“Full Beast Form—One Hundred Million Degrees—Endless Fire Domain.”
“Boom…” The ground vanished, magma surged, a golden-white beam disappeared in a blink.
A flaming barrier tens of thousands of meters wide descended, engulfing everything.
