Shakky knelt weakly on the ground, her face as pale as paper. Watching the cruel scene unfold before her eyes, her heart turned to ash, because she knew that Fish-Man Island had fallen into crisis.

"Damn humans, how dare they run amok on Fish-Man Island! We must not let him escape..."

Some bolder mermen stood in the distance, their faces filled with hatred, taking turns denouncing Xuanye.

Seeing that Xuanye made no further move, a strong merman actually picked up a weapon and slowly closed in. One had to admit how absurd this world could be.

"Oh? I'd like to see how you plan to kill me." Highly amused, Xuanye folded his arms across his chest and looked calmly at Arlong. Arlong clearly hadn't gone to the East Blue yet at this point in time.

"Bastard, hurry up and apologize to this lord!" Regaining her senses after a cold shudder, Shakky looked anxiously at her half-brother, burning with panic.

"Shakky, it looks like this fellow bullied you. Today, he's a dead man." The moment Arlong saw Shakky kneeling on the ground and clearly having cried—though the two were merely half-siblings and weren't very close—she was still his biological younger sister.

"Attack! Kill this human for me. I'm going to let humans see that mermen are the greatest race in this world!" Taking the lead, Arlong waved his hand and directly ordered the attack.

"Shark Brick Fist!" Accompanied by a neutral voice and a fierce shockwave, a bulky figure blocked the path right in front of Arlong.

The flames vanished. Xuanye withdrew his hand, the corners of his mouth curling upward as he said indifferently, "Warlord of the Sea, Jinbe."

"Jinbe Big Brother." Still lingering in fear, Arlong looked at that robust figure, filled with pleasant surprise.

Standing before them was none other than one of the Warlords of the Sea summoned by the World Government: the Knight of the Sea, Jinbe.

"Heavenly God Bird, Don Xuanye." Looking grave, Jinbe watched Xuanye vigilantly as immense power continuously surged throughout his body.

"It seems the Warlord system has been fully implemented. The Marines are truly disgusting." His calm expression turned gloomy, because among the Warlords, there existed someone he was sworn to kill.

"I wonder why someone with a bounty of one billion is visiting Fish-Man Island, and why you are slaughtering mermen so brutally." Turning his head to look at the corpses covering the ground, Jinbe asked with a dark expression, demanding an explanation.

"One... One... One billion..."

Behind him, Arlong's jaw dropped as he stared in sheer disbelief at Xuanye. At that moment, he finally understood what kind of existence he was facing.

"Why am I here? Merely hunting down someone. I must say, you mermen are truly arrogant and conceited; you are destined to be destroyed."

"Is that your reason for slaughtering my compatriots?" Power surged violently through Jinbe as he glared fixedly at Xuanye.

"Kill him! Kill him!" At that moment, the surrounding crowd closed in once more. Mermen stared at Xuanye with eyes full of hatred, wishing they could tear him limb from limb.

"Damn human!" Seeing the agitated emotions of his compatriots all around, Arlong stopped trembling and cried out indignantly, "Jinbe Big Brother, kill this foolish human!"

"Foolish human! Get out of Fish-Man Island! Kill him... Kill him..."

A sea of people erupted into countless curses, all glaring at Xuanye with bitter hatred.

His brow gradually tightened into a fierce scowl. Raising his head, Xuanye's eyes turned gold and white. He coldly gazed upon the ugly faces surrounding him, listening with revulsion to the irritating denunciations, while a surge of rage inexplicably filled his chest.

"You want to die? I'll grant your wish." Surrounded by flames, his figure materialized high in the sky. With a cold expression, Xuanye waved his hand, and endless fire swallowed the entire sky as countless swords, spears, halberds, and sabers plummeted downward.

"Oh no!" Too late to stop it, Jinbe's face drained of color in horror. He knew his side had thoroughly provoked this monster.
