Chapter Seven: The World of JOJO

Borusalino had already prepared himself mentally for some commotion upon crossing over, but what caught him off guard was that the moment he accepted the invitation, the world before his eyes blurred and he found himself in another realm.
The surroundings resembled a room in an inn. Knowing the storyline and even DIO’s abilities, Jotaro Kujo appeared considerably more composed before the decisive battle.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Borusalino?”
Looking at the young man who suddenly appeared before him, Jotaro’s expression barely changed.
However, Borusalino, possessing top-tier Observation Haki, could sense that Jotaro’s mood had noticeably relaxed.
Even with full knowledge of the enemy’s background before the fight, facing a monster like DIO demanded utmost caution.
“Yo, Jotaro, is this Egypt?”
Borusalino glanced out the window at the exotic scenery, his mind wandering amusingly—wondering if this world might have a place like Morioh Town, and imagining a Pharaoh commanding the Three Egyptian Gods would be hilariously wild.
“Yeah, we’ve located DIO’s residence. Next up is to eliminate him!”
Even when mentioning the detestable DIO, Jotaro’s face remained expressionless.
At that moment, a knock sounded at the door. Borusalino raised an eyebrow, already knowing who it was.
“Ready to move out, Jotaro.”
The door opened to reveal an old man wearing a cowboy hat—none other than Jotaro’s grandfather, Joseph Joestar.
Stand: Hermit Purple
Though its endurance was rated A, all other stats were surprisingly low.
As is well known, stands don’t have simple rankings; there is the invincible Star Platinum and the least useful Hermit Purple!
“And who might this be?”
Joseph quickly noticed Borusalino in the room. Although Jotaro had mentioned introducing an ally, Borusalino’s floral shirt and beach shorts made him look more like a passing tourist.
“Borusalino is a comrade of justice!”
Before Jotaro could speak, Borusalino chuckled lightly and introduced himself.

“Jotaro?”
Joseph frowned. Their target was a monster like DIO; Jotaro shouldn’t recklessly involve someone unrelated.
Perhaps this young man in beach shorts was strong, but no matter how strong a human is, in front of a monster he was just another potential casualty.
“Don’t worry, Grandpa, Borusalino is very strong!”
Jotaro gave no explanations; once his grandfather witnessed Borusalino’s power, he would understand.
“Mr. Joseph, is something wrong?”
Polnareff, with his barrel-shaped hairstyle, appeared at the door. Seeing the situation, Joseph relented and accepted Borusalino joining their team against DIO.
Soon Borusalino met Jotaro’s companions: Mohammed Avdol, a black man with curly hair whose stand is Magician’s Red, capable of controlling flames;
Noriaki Kakyoin, who tested DIO’s time-stopping ability at the cost of his life, whose stand is Hierophant Green with abilities resembling rubber fruit powers;
A dog named Iggy, with the stand Fool, who can manipulate sand to morph and attack, akin to a non-elemental sand fruit;
Lastly, Jean Pierre Polnareff himself, whose stand is Silver Chariot, a knight wielding a Western sword, boasting exceptional speed and precision, capable of cutting through the air with his swordsmanship.
Jotaro’s comrades also got a preliminary introduction to Borusalino, whose name was known but whose abilities and background remained a mystery.
However, Borusalino soon earned the recognition of everyone, including Joseph, after nearly revealing even the color of DIO’s underwear.
Because it was inconvenient to explain the source of his intelligence, Jotaro simply asked Borusalino to expose all the stand abilities of DIO and his subordinates.
“Those are just DIO’s subordinates, yet their stands are so terrifying...”
Polnareff swallowed nervously. Without Borusalino’s warnings, rushing blindly into DIO’s lair would have meant total annihilation before even facing DIO.
“It’s easy enough to deal with DIO’s subordinates, but the real problem is DIO’s stand—being able to stop time is simply unsolvable!”

Avdol broke out in a cold sweat; he couldn’t fathom how to defeat an enemy who could halt time.
Joseph shook his head. To him, the truly frightening figure was Borusalino, who knew DIO and his minions inside and out.
No matter how powerful a stand is, there are always strategies to counter it. Knowing the enemy’s abilities before the battle starts makes such a person truly formidable.
He just couldn’t understand how Borusalino managed that, since he gave off no trace of being a stand user.
“Vampires are weak to sunlight. Why are we operating at night?”
Polnareff glanced up at the sky. Whether it was a full moon or the dead of night, even considering how tough DIO’s minions were, they would only face DIO in the early hours.
Even if they defeated DIO smoothly, they wouldn’t be able to use sunlight to finish him off.
“Trust me!”
Jotaro spoke succinctly.
He knew full well the disadvantages of a nighttime operation.
But now, with Borusalino on their side, there was no worry about not being able to eliminate DIO after defeating him.
At the same time, Jotaro felt some concern.
If they reached DIO too easily, that cunning fellow might just choose to flee.
Kakyoin and Joseph exchanged a glance and did not oppose Jotaro’s decision.
Rather than blindly storming DIO’s lair with no knowledge, it was far better to first uncover the enemy’s secrets.
Soon, DIO’s mansion appeared before the group.
Borusalino hadn’t experienced this kind of dungeon-crawling, boss-fighting adventure with a team in a long time.
With his strength, he could face an enemy like the Whitebeard Pirates head-on, assured of emerging unscathed.
