I gave Li Muyang a helpless look and sat down on a chair next to my master. Looking at him, I asked, "Master, what should we do next?"

My master pondered for a moment, leaned back in his chair, and said, "We’ll play it by ear. We need to find some people to talk to; we must uncover the location of the assassination organization's headquarters."

I nodded and glanced at Li Muyang. The kid was eating with such gusto, smacking his lips with every bite. I couldn't stand the noise and blurted out, "Hey, are you a pig? Must you smack your lips while you eat? Can you be quiet?"

Li Muyang, with a piece of seaweed hanging from his mouth, shot me a look but said nothing, continuing to feast on his spicy hot pot. I shook my head and asked, "What time are we leaving, Master?"

Master checked the time and said, "We head out in two hours."

I agreed, and after waiting in our hotel room for two hours, we tidied up and headed toward the Supernatural Leisure Club. Li Muyang stayed behind to watch our luggage. When we reached the entrance of the alley, a shimmering ripple of light was clearly visible. Master touched it lightly and remarked, "An illusion array. Not bad."

I was taken aback. "An illusion array?"

Master looked at me and explained, "It’s not meant to harm anyone. It’s just to isolate the place from the outside world, so no ordinary people wander in by mistake. If someone were to accidentally provoke the people inside and get killed, who would they even complain to?"

After his explanation, I nodded. Master added, "Just channel a bit of spiritual energy, and you can pass through. Let’s go."

With that, a faint golden light flickered from his fingers, and he stepped straight through. I followed suit and walked in behind him. Once inside, I was stunned. It was late at night, and while the streets outside had been deserted, the area ahead was packed with a long line of people. Others were distributing masks. Master pointed at one of the distributors and said, "See that? Everyone here is a supernatural practitioner. The owner doesn't want any trouble, so to prevent enemies or people with grudges from clashing, everyone must wear a mask. Otherwise, they’ll be beaten and tossed out."

I nodded in understanding. We walked over to the mask stall, took the masks offered to us, put them on, and joined the queue. We moved forward step by step. When we reached the main entrance, we were stopped by a person holding a short, glowing golden rod. He scanned both of us with it before letting us pass. Once inside, I asked curiously, "Master, what was that stick?"

Master looked back and said, "It’s just like the detectors they have in supermarkets."

"Then why not just use the ones from a supermarket? These people are so bored; they had to go and make a special stick."

Master chuckled and replied, "A supermarket is a supermarket. Do you really think a regular detector would work on supernatural practitioners like us?"

I paused, realizing he had a point. I gave an awkward smile, and Master continued, "Let’s go. Let’s see what this Supernatural Leisure Club is all about."

I nodded, and we walked further in. Once we were fully inside, I realized it was no different from a regular bar. A few low-frequency speakers blasted intense music, and people were already sitting on sofas, shaking dice. I scanned the room, and Master nudged my arm. I looked at him, confused, and he leaned into my ear, shouting, "Split up! Be careful!"

I shouted back that I understood and parted ways with him. I navigated through the somewhat crowded room, where people were drinking, dancing, and smoking. Frowning slightly, I walked to the front counter and took a seat. The server was quite welcoming; seeing me, he asked, "What can I get you, sir?"

I looked at him and blinked in surprise—even the server had spiritual energy. *Good grief,* I thought to myself. "Uh, do you have orange juice?"

The server was also taken aback, eyeing me suspiciously, but he went to prepare it anyway. A moment later, he returned with a glass of orange juice and said with a smile, "Your orange juice."

I nodded and thanked him. After taking a sip, I looked around, but I couldn't see my master anywhere. Just as I was about to take a second sip, someone sat down next to me. It was a woman dressed in revealing clothes, with her shoulders and back exposed. I stared at her, stunned. She seemed to sense my gaze, turned to look at me, and asked, "Little handsome, am I pretty?"

I froze, shaking my head, then nodding, and swallowed hard. Seeing my reaction, the woman smiled and said, "Oh, don't be nervous, little brother. I’m not a man-eating tiger."

Just then, the server handed a cocktail to the woman and glanced at me. "Sister Yu, this young man looks unfamiliar. He must be new."

The woman called Sister Yu looked me up and down and let out a charming laugh. "No wonder he's so nervous. Heh."

I turned away, feeling awkward, and took a sip of orange juice. Sister Yu kept watching me, smiling again as she asked, "Is this your first time here, little brother?"

I nodded. Sister Yu continued, "Then how about I show you around? There are lots of fun things to do here."

I hesitated, looked at her, and said, "No, uh, Sister Yu, I... I have things to do."

"Heh, what things? Tell me about it," she said.

I looked at her, my heart pounding, and stammered, "Uh, well, that..."

"Don't be nervous, little brother. Is this your first time seeing a woman?"

"I, I..."

Sister Yu looked at me, exasperated, and waved her hand. "Forget it, forget it. If you won't say, fine. How boring."

I blinked and called out, "Hey, wait, wait."

Sister Yu turned back, wearing a smile again. "Wait for what? Call me sister."

I gave an awkward smile and said, "Sister Yu."

She nodded, satisfied. I sat beside her and thought: if Sister Yu is a regular here, she must know something. I might as well just ask her directly. Master never said I couldn't talk to anyone, and besides, isn't that why we're here—to track down the assassination organization?

I looked at Sister Yu, my heart still racing, and said, "Sister Yu, can I ask you something?"

"Hmm? What is it? Ask away. Your Sister Yu knows everything there is to know in this place."

I nodded and said, "Do you know of an organization?"

Sister Yu paused. "Hey, don't use 'you' (the formal 'nin')—it makes me sound old. What kind of organization? There are tons of them here."

I gave another awkward smile, nodded, and beckoned for her to lean in closer. She looked confused but leaned toward me. I leaned near her ear and whispered, "An organization that specializes in murder and robbery. I can't really say the name; my master forbade it."

Sister Yu looked at me, puzzled, then suddenly laughed. "Master? You have a master? From which sect?"

"Sister Yu, you—uh, never mind that. Do you know that organization or not?"

Sister Yu smiled, swirling her cocktail. "The Assassination Organization, right?"

I was startled and cautiously looked around. "Sister Yu, don't say it so loudly! There are so many people here."

Watching my reaction, she laughed softly. Her hand suddenly rested on my shoulder. I shivered, and she leaned in close, so close that I didn't dare to breathe as I looked at her beautiful face.

She whispered into my ear, "Don't be afraid. I've got you covered. No one here will dare to touch you. Heh."

She reached out and stroked my cheek. I flinched and pulled away, and seeing my dramatic reaction, she smiled again and said, "A total novice, indeed."

I blinked. "What do you mean?"

She waved her hand. "Oh, nothing, nothing. So, the Assassination Organization, right? Why are you looking for those guys? They’re all cold-blooded killers. Be careful you don't bring trouble upon yourself."
