My master looked at Gu Chenguang, and he looked back. My master smiled slightly and said, "Indeed, the older ginger is the spicier. You saw right through the purpose of my visit immediately."

Gu Chenguang sneered again and replied, "Cut the crap. If you want to know something, just say it. I still have to go back and finish my cleaning duties."

My master nodded and asked, "Do you know Wei Wujiang?"

At the mention of that name, Gu Chenguang’s body visibly shuddered. He looked at my master and whispered, "A master of illusion and a member of the supernatural assassination organization. How could I not know him?"

My master nodded again and continued, "Since you know Wei Wujiang, you must have a way to find this assassination organization, right?"

Gu Chenguang was stunned. "The assassination organization is known to everyone. What are you trying to do?"

My master smiled. "Something important, naturally. You just need to tell me if you can find them or not."

After my master said this, it was Gu Chenguang’s turn to laugh. We all looked at him in confusion as he shook his head mockingly. "I never imagined that the renowned Tan Boqing would have to come to a prisoner like me to find the assassination organization. If word of this gets out, it will become a huge joke."

My master remained calm. He smiled and said, "Do you think I am a saint who knows everything I wish to know? I remember you once said you had accepted a commission from the organization, which is why I came to ask you. Don’t put on such an arrogant air; you know full well what your current situation is. If you refuse to talk, I naturally have ways to make you speak."

Gu Chenguang frowned slightly. Looking at my master, he said in a low voice, "Finding the assassination organization is not difficult. Building Number 38 on Huilang Street is their local branch. Very few people know about it."

Upon hearing the location, my master smiled even more brightly. He took his phone out of his pocket and said, "Hello, Li Xin? You heard that, right? Building 38, Huilang Street. Help me track the location and send it to my phone. I’ve never even heard of that place."

After hanging up and putting his phone away, I was stunned. I hadn't even realized when my master had made that call, even though I was sitting right next to him.

Gu Chenguang rattled his handcuffs, the metal clinking loudly. He spoke again, "You’ve learned what you wanted to know, but don't say I didn't warn you—you cannot afford to provoke the head of the assassination organization."

My master smiled and said, "Then thank you for your kind intentions. Let's go!"

My master led the way out, leaving Gu Chenguang watching our backs. After exchanging a few words with Officer Liu and Warden Cao, we left the prison. We returned to the criminal investigation team in a police car, then switched to my master’s vehicle. Sitting in the driver’s seat, he checked the location Li Xin had sent, started the engine, and headed straight for Huilang Street.

When we arrived, my master checked the building numbers and locked onto number 38. "I’ve never been here. Since when is there a place called Huilang Street?"

I looked at him. If my master hadn't been here, I certainly hadn't either. Unable to answer, I stood silently by his side. He sighed and said, "Let’s go. There is no time to lose."

I nodded and followed him into the building. It was indeed inhabited by people with spiritual perception. Despite the dilapidated exterior, the interior was luxuriously decorated—clearly a tactic to avoid attracting attention. My master signaled for us to be quiet. "They are all on the third floor. Be swift."

I prepared myself and nodded, as did Li Muyang. We followed my master quietly to the third floor. Upon reaching the door, we saw that the wooden interior was filled with computers and high-tech equipment. Rows of people sat in front of screens; the setup looked just like a modern office. An outsider would have thought they were just working... well, in a sense, they were, just in a different line of business.

My master counted to three and kicked the door open. He moved with incredible speed, flashing before them and knocking several people unconscious. I manifested my "Sky Sound Breaker," and an arc of electricity surged along the barrel toward them. A chain reaction ensued, leaving everyone on the floor, twitching uncontrollably. Li Muyang rushed toward another group with yellow talismans in hand. The kid had decent skills; he took down a few more with ease. My master had already finished his side. He clapped his hands, and we walked back together. He surveyed the room and said, "Find some rope and tie them up."

I nodded. Li Muyang and I searched for some thick hemp rope, and after a bit of busywork, we had them all bound in the center of the room. My master exhaled and said, "Since this is a branch, there should be a roster of members. Let’s search separately."

"Who are you? You have some nerve to sneak-attack this branch of the assassination organization. Do you not want to survive in this circle anymore?"

As soon as my master spoke, one of the bound men shouted. My master glanced at him, ignored him, and went to search elsewhere.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! I'm talking to you! Let us go, or our headquarters will not spare you! Are you deaf? Hey!"

The man continued to yell incessantly. My master frowned and looked up at him. A flash of golden light descended, and the man’s voice vanished instantly; he could only struggle and mumble, unable to speak. My master went back to searching the cabinets, muttering to himself, "So noisy!"

We turned the place upside down but couldn't find the documents we wanted. My master let out a heavy breath, walked over to the man we had bound, and pinched his throat. The man’s voice returned, and he began to curse, "Who the hell are you? Daring to break into our branch—do you know who I am? I advise you to let us go, or you will die a miserable death."

My master squatted in front of him and gave a cold laugh. The assassin hesitated, and then my master asked, "Who are you?"

"Me? I... I'm a member of the assassination organization. So what? Let us go!" His tone had softened significantly. My master patted his face, leaving him dazed. Then, my master smiled and said, "I have one question for you. If you answer well, I will let you go. If you answer poorly, I will kill you!!"

By the end of the sentence, my master had dropped his smile. The lethal expression startled the assassin, who nodded like a pecking chick. My master smiled again and asked, "Do you know Wei Wujiang?"

The man nodded. "Senior Wei? I know him. He is a veteran of our organization. Why... why do you ask?"

My master didn't answer and continued, "Do you know where he is now?"

"Hey, you said you'd only ask one question! That's two now. I have the right to refuse to answer."

"Don't give me that crap! Speak!" my master barked.

The man was startled and quickly said, "I don't know where he went. I really don't! Senior Wei’s whereabouts are always unpredictable. I only know he recently received a mission from the higher-ups. That’s all I know."

My master frowned. "A mission from the higher-ups? What mission? Where is your headquarters!!"

"I don't know... the headquarters... it's in Henan."

"Henan? Where in Henan?"

The man looked at my master with fear. "Zhengzhou."

"Zhengzhou..." my master repeated softly. He looked at the man again and said, "You answered well. Don't let me see you again, or I won't hesitate to kill you. You choose to be assassins instead of living proper lives."

My master stood up and walked straight out. As we reached the door, the man shouted after us, "Hey! Help a guy out! Untie the ropes before you go! Hey! Hey!!"

My master smiled slightly and ignored him. As his voice faded into the distance, we reached the ground floor. I chuckled and said, "That guy was actually pretty funny, too bad he's an assassin."

Li Muyang nodded with a smile. The three of us shared a laugh, sat in the car, and discussed our next move: heading to Henan.
